My kids are fruit lovers to the max! Whenever we travel they are always scouting out the nearest Superfood bar to get their fruit, yogurt and acai fix. It is fantastic that they love the healthy options on where we should grab a bite to eat, however those places are quite expensive. Where we live the average price for a single acai bowl is a little over $10. This Yellow Dragon Fruit Acai feeds 4-5 people for about the same price. Healthy, delicious and affordable… Mom win on this one for sure!

1/2 Banana
1/2 Cup Ocean Spray White Cranberry Juice

-INSTRUCTIONS-
-HOW TO MAKE YELLOW DRAGON FRUIT ACAI-

Next, peel and slice banana, then place into blender. Pour white cranberry juice and ice to blender.
Pulse or blend until well blended.
For an acai bowl: Pour mixture into bowl and add optional garnish ingredients.
For a fruit smoothie: Pour mixture into cup add optional garnish and enjoy!

-YOU SHOULD TRY THIS-
If you can’t find White Cranberry juice, you can add regular cranberry juice or apple juice. Depending on what your local grocery store has, you may need to use a traditional pink or red dragon fruit (both have the same taste and texture, the yellow dragon fruit may taste slightly sweeter). Feel free to get creative with your toppings. We have tried honey, sliced almonds, and Greek yogurt. Also, try this with our Hearty Homemade Granola!
